AYMAN'S TESTIMONY

Ayman Kafrouny, a man whose life was dramatically transformed by his faith in Jesus Christ. Born in Lebanon, Ayman, initially, pursued a career in nursing and later joined the army during the war. However, his journey took an unexpected turn when he participated in a television program for amateurs in 1992, where he discovered his talent for singing. Over the course of eight years, Ayman achieved fame and popularity throughout the Arab world with MTV Arabia being his sponsor supporting his professional career.

However, Ayman's success and fame came with a heavy price. He found himself deeply involved in a world of corruption and drugs, seeking satisfaction but never finding it. Realizing the emptiness of his pursuits, he made a personal pact with God, promising to read the Bible five consecutive times if God made an important concert scheduled outside Lebanon a success. As Ayman immersed himself in the Bible, his knowledge of true Christianity deepened, and he ultimately surrendered his entire life to Jesus Christ.

The transformation Ayman experienced was profound. He left behind the world of sin and corruption, embracing his new identity as a new creation in Christ. Recognizing the potential conflicts between his singing career and his devotion to the Lord, Ayman faced a difficult decision. He chose to give up his profession, despite uncertainty about what lay ahead, and wholeheartedly follow Christ. With unwavering faith, he embarked on a path of serving and worshiping the Lord, leaving everything behind.

Inspired by his own journey and driven by a desire to spread the Lord's Word, Ayman founded Rooftops Ministries. This Christian charity has a unique focus on utilizing television shows and interviews to communicate the message of God's love, grace, and redemption. Through these platforms, Rooftops Ministries aims to reach a wide audience and share the transformative power of the Gospel, inspiring others to find hope and purpose in their own lives.
More to the story...
In November 2009, Ayman produced and hosted his first TV show on Sat-7 Network. The fast-paced show is geared toward believers and nonbelievers and reaches young people in that area. Today, Ayman has 10 TV programs out on social media and running on TV Networks all over the world. Ever since Ayman accepted Christ as his Savior, he has not stopped using his influence to spread the Gospel via broadcasts to an audience affected by anti-Christian thoughts and beliefs. “I was always looking for ways to do the work of God professionally,” says Ayman, “so I went to Studio Vision Company that is owned by the same person who owns MTV Arabia, to rent their facilities to shoot the new show. During my meeting with the owner, he insisted on hearing my testimony. “After hearing my story, he asked about my life today and what kind of work I am doing for a living. I told him that I am a full-time minister and in charge of the Nazarene broadcasting and communications ministry in the Middle East and that we produce Christian TV shows and radio programs.” The studio owner got interested in broadcasting some of Ayman’s productions on MTV Arabia. When questioned about how he views his life in radical relationship with Christ, he says, “I look at every opportunity in my life—all the events of my past and all the relationships I have now or I had before I knew Jesus— and I see them as parts of my stewardship. One day the Lord will ask me: ‘What did you do with the resources I put in your hands?’ I look forward to hear Jesus saying to me: ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord’ (Matthew 25:21, NKJV). I believe if each one of us thinks about the moment when he will meet with the Lord, our performance as a Church in the world will be different and more effective.”
